Speculative Construction is Started on 604,029 SF San Bernardino Building (October 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce ground breaking on a 604,029 square foot building on Glen Helen Parkway in San Bernardino, California. The project is a state-of-the-art warehouse distribution facility with 32’ clear height, ESFR sprinkler system and an oversized truck court allowing for ample trailer storage. The property is located near the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Glen Helen Parkway offers freeway visibility off the 15 Freeway.

FNS Leases 158,520 SF at 13050 Marlay in Fontana (October 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease agreement with FNS, Inc. for approximately 158,520 square feet. FNS is a logistics provider for the electronics industry. The lease brings the Marlay building to 100% leased. FNS was represented by James Kong of JM Commercial Properties and Alere was represented by Mike McCrary and Jordan Quinn of Jones Lang LaSalle.

Pactiv Expands and Extends Lease in San Bernardino (August 2011)

Pactiv expanded their lease at 786 East Central Avenue to the entire 913,726 square foot building. Pactiv originally leased approximately 586,000 square feet for their regional distribution center. The lease was also extended for five years. Pactiv is a leader in the consumer and foodservice/food packaging market. Pactiv was represented by Kent Stalwick, David Tropp and Mark Latimer of CB Richard Ellis.

C-Merit Leases 41,905 SF at 13875 Ramona in Chino (July 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce that it has signed a 5 year lease with C-Merit for approximately 41,905 square feet in Chino. C-Merit is a designer and distributor of fashion shoes under the brand “Gotta Flurt.” The lease brings the Ramona building to 100% leased. Steve Shatafian of Lee & Associates represented C-Merit and Mike McCrary and Jordan Quinn of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Alere.

Houdini Renews Lease for 297,985 SF in North Orange County (July 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce that Houdini Inc. has renewed their lease at 4201 Bonita Place in Brea. Houdini, which operates the Wine Country Gift Baskets line, signed a five year lease for their distribution and call center operations. John Yonai of Tiarra West represented Houdini.

DCG Leases 189,631 SF at 12400 Riverside in Eastvale (July 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease with DCG Fulfillment at 12400 Riverside. DCG is a third party logistics provider for retailers and clothing companies. The lease brings the 12400 Riverside building to 100% leased. Mark Kegans of Grubb & Ellis represented DCG and David Consani and Joey Sugar of CB Richard Ellis represented Alere.

Alere Acquires Industrial Land Site in Fontana, California (May 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of 15.5 industrial zoned acres located at 13100 Marlay Avenue in Fontana. The site supports a 325,000 SF building with above standard container storage capabilities. Alere plans to break ground on the building in early 2012. Mike McCrary and Peter McWilliams from Jones Lang LaSalle represented Alere in this transaction.

Smucker’s Expands and Extends Lease in San Bernardino (March 2011)

Smucker’s expanded their lease at 5690 Industrial Parkway to the entire 844,150 square foot building. Smucker’s originally leased approximately 600,000 square feet for their regional distribution center. The lease was also extended for seven years. Lynn Reich of Colliers International and Jeff Kernochan of Fischer and Company represented Smucker’s.

Kohler Renews in 480,510 SF in San Bernardino (March 2011)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce that it has signed a five-year renewal with Kohler at 675 Central in San Bernardino. The building serves as Kohler’s regional distribution center for its bathroom and kitchen products. Kohler was represented by John Dues and Brett Dedeaux of Binswanger Advisory Services, Inc.

Alere Acquires Industrial Land Site in San Bernardino, California (January 2011)

Alere Property Group acquired approximately 30 acres off of Glen Helen Parkway on the 15 Freeway in San Bernardino. The site offers excellent access and visibility off the 15 Freeway. Alere is planning to build a 600,000 square foot building on an speculative basis on the site and plans to break ground in the Fall of 2011.

Alere Acquires Development Site in Long Beach, California (December 2010)

Alere Property Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 12 acre parcel in on Anaheim and San Francisco Streets in Long Beach. Alere plans to develop the site with class A industrial buildings that will take advantage of the close proximity to the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Alere Property Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of a six building portfolio in the Inland Empire totaling 3.6 million square feet. The highly functional, class A portfolio includes two buildings in San Bernardino, two buildings in Agua Mansa, one building in Fontana and one building in Riverside. The portfolio was 85% leased at time of purchase and includes tenants such as Pactiv, Homedics, Exel Logistics, Kohler, Komar and Distribution Alternatives. With this acquisition, Alere owns a total of 12 million square feet, primarily located in Southern California.
